First time visiting? We are so glad you stopped by! Here is some information to help you feel comfortable and get the most out of your experience:
When does church start?
During the school year Sunday school starts at 9 and the worship service starts at 10:30 but come a little bit early so you can get a cup of coffee & a donut (we also have granola bars and fruit) and enjoy some fellowship before the service. We are a pretty social group, we like hanging out with each other and we love having visitors. During the summer we have a single service at 9:30.
What is a worship service like?
We are pretty informal around here. We open with a worship song, to get our hearts focused. Then we have BRIEF announcements followed by a Biblically-focused teaching time which lasts about forty minutes. After that we sing some more (we like to sing). On the first and third Sunday's we celebrate the Lord's table (communion). On the fourth Sunday, after the teaching time, we usually have a testimony from one of the members.
What kind of music do you play?
Our philosophy on music is that it's a tool to help draw us into worshipping God. As a result we sing an eclectic group of worship songs, from hyms to more "contemporary" praise and worship music.
Is there a nursery provided?
Yes! We provide a nursery for infants through age 3. The nursery is staffed for Sunday school and the worship service.
What about Sunday school?
During the school year (Sept-May), Sunday school runs from 9:00 - 10:10, before the worship service.
Our children's Sunday school is arranged by age: 2 & 3 Year olds, Pre-K and Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, and 5th - 7th.
Everyone else meets together in the sanctuary. We have a rotating roster of teachers who cover a variety of subjects ranging from Doctrine/Theology to Current Events.
