Lion & Lamb is committed to mature men providing leadership for the Church. We call them elders and deacons - biblical terms used to describe local church leaders. This was the clear practice of the early Church and is the only clear model of church leadership presented in the New Testament.
This model not only encourages mutual cooperation and humility, but is also a good hedge against the cult of personality and tendency to focus on an individual instead of Christ Himself.
We try to model the plural character of God's gifts in leadership and service, and you will see this reflected in a variety of men teaching and leading.
